ANCESTORS:

There are two kinds of ancestors: biological and soul force.  Biological ancestors consist of our parents, grandparents, and great grandparents, and so forth.  Soul force ancestors are previous incarnations of our soul.  In other traditions these would be our past lives.  Mother Ilowan teaches that past incarnations are separate from us, individuals in their own right, who are interested in helping us with our life because we share the same spirit soul energy with them.

ANCESTOR COUNCIL:

Refers to the above named past incarnational beings.  Mother Ilowan teaches that every human has an ancestor council made up of 4-12 past incarnations.  She has indicated that prior to birth these people (spirits) share their life memories with us through dreaming.  In other words they dream about the main highlights of their life and we experience those memories as fully as if they were our own.  In this way we have pre-birth experiences to draw on as we learn about the world in infancy and childhood.

CHAKRA PATHS OF MASTERY:

This is a study, unique to Mother Ilowan's teachings, in which individuals are able to determine their basic talents, gifts, soul force disabilities and challenges in this life.  An individual soul  chooses a Path of Mastery at the beginning of the incarnational cycle and maintains that focus throughout thousands, or millions, of lifetimes.   Only conscious channel entities (Humans) truly have a Path of Mastery; animals do not. All Masters demonstrate only 5 main qualities: Love, Joy, Peace, Light, and enthusiastic Life.  Everyone else can be identified through his or her basic soul force challenges.

Knowing your soul path does not limit your life expression.  A first chakra, warrior path, can decide to express as a healer, a teacher, a liberator, a prophet, a visionary, etc.  It is through trying different ways to express our life energies that the soul grows and expands on the spiritual path.  Awareness of the Chakra Paths of Mastery can assist in accepting others as they

are and in accepting ourselves, as we are.  This is because humans tend to think everyone feels, believes, and wants the same things we want.  Other people can be totally motivated from a place we do not understand, and don’t necessarily want to understand.  Study of Chakra Paths can help an individual become more accepting of the differences in choices, and encourage us to celebrate diversity.

THE CHAKRA PATHS OF MASTERY ARE:

1st chakra pathway-  The Inner Warrior- (Focus is on survival & psychology)

2nd chakra pathway- The Outer Warrior- (Focus is on control & manifestation)

3rd chakra pathway- The Teacher- (Focus is on mental/emotional balances)

EARTH CHAKRAS:

This term refers to a special spiritual power center located somewhere in the natural world.  Major places of spiritual power, or power points, have always been recognized throughout the ages.  Glacier National Park is such an area, Machu Pechu is another, Mount Shasta a further example.  The earth is (or was) covered with chakra (spiritual) centers at one time.  Due to people finding these places, building condos, parking lots, and cities on these special power points many of them have closed down.  This means the earth does not have as much energy to sustain life as she used to have; therefore, from time to time, as a chakra center closes the earth angels (devas) open another area of life force energy.  It is important to preserve these centers as unspoiled by human occupation as possible in order for them to maintain their life giving energies.

These are people, animals, angels, or other spiritual beings that have an interest in helping us live our life in a better, more successful way.  A spirit guide can be a beloved grandmother, grandfather, or other relative who has lived in the world, loved us, and does not cease to take an interest in our well being even after they have died.  A spirit guide can also be an entity we seek out through prayer, meditation, or spiritual disciplines to help us grow on our chosen path of spirit.

SPIRIT TRUTHS:

Love, joy, peace, light, and abundant life.  Mother Ilowan tells us these energies are the only thing Great Spirit desires for us to experience.  All experiences to the contrary are created by human beings attempting to create the above and failing to do so in a universal, unconditional way.

STAR BEINGS:

A term used to describe powerful beings of the astral or non-physical worlds, who can work with a human to enhance that individual’s gifts and psychic powers.  They don’t do this for love, however, and one must learn how to deal with these powerful spirits in a safe and practical way.  This is part of Ishkahai (shaman) training.

TARAI-

The realm of the angels and saints, this is a place of higher spiritual consciousness.

TEMPLE ANGELS-

This refers to the 5 angels of the world mission:

Kaynaha- Angel of Joy; Govina-Angel of Abundance and Compassion; Tinawa-Angel of Healing & Peace; Maynaha- Angel of Surrender and Oneness; and Elohim-Angel of Devotion and Love.

TRUTHS OF THE UNIVERSE:

See Spirit Truths and Divine Inheritance.

UNCONSICOUS CHANNEL ENTITIES:

This is how Mother Ilowan refers to plants, minerals, and animals.

UNIVERSAL SPIRIT MIND- MARAI

Also referred to as the unconscious mind, the all there is, and the void.  It is a place of pure thought where everything that can exist, has existed, and will exist resides in possibility.  When we create stories about our lives we are giving shape to Universal Spirit Mind.

VISION QUEST:

A time in the out-of-doors, alone, fasting, praying, creating sacred ceremony, and calling on spirit (in whatever form most appeals to us) to help us understand our lives, our purpose, and our inner nature.  Usually vision quests require a guide or teacher who is alive in the physical world, and who has been through vision quests themselves, to assist in guiding this spiritual opportunity for us.

VOWS OF SPIRIT:

Promises we make to Great Spirit through our teacher, angel, guides, or helpers that allow us to better understand and unfold our divine purpose in the world.  Some vows a Temple student might promise  (when they desire to do so and are ready to do so): non-harm, freedom, love, light, peace, joy, service, healing, obedience (to a spiritual teacher), and chastity.  This means to create, and live, a life that exemplifies these energies to the very best of one’s ability daily.

WORLD GATE-

This refers to the material and consumer oriented world around us.  The consciousness fueled by need, greed and the desire to acquire more, more and more all the time.  It is a consciousness of entitlement for money, cars, sex and entertainment.

WORLD LIGHT MEDITATION:

Every day Mother Ilowan asks us to join in prayer and/or visualization; with all of our brothers and sisters in the Healing Teaching Temple, joining with all of the other Light workers of the world to create a great web of healing light and joy around our planet..  This focus can be combined with chanting the mantra 49 times daily.

 WORLD MIND-

The collective thoughts and focus of the people in our world, which usually has a basis of fear, anger and paranoid thoughts.

WORLD LIGHT PRAYER:

Unto the Light, this fills up my being from within and without,

I dedicate this day , and my life.

May the Light fill my mind, and my heart.

May it rule my speech, and be my vision.

I give my life to the Light in union with all of Mother Ilowan's children, wherever they may be.

I do this through the loving heart of Mother Ilowan --

May she take me, and weave me, in the pattern of life today as she sees fit.

I know in my heart the Truths of the Universe: Love, Light, Joy, Peace, and Life.

May I embody them more each day.

May I share this Light with others to the best of my ability,

This day, and all the days that I shall live.

Chi-ho.

WORLD MISSION & WORLD MISSION MASTER:

These words refer to the body of teachings that a great spiritual being brings into the world as his/her contribution to the development of the consciousness of that world.  Master Jesus was a world mission master, as was Gandhi, Krishna, and the Buddha.  Master is a metaphysical term meaning saint, or great being, someone who has made, or is making, a major demonstration of spiritual truths in the world.

The world mission masters are:

Mary Tukanna, Grandmother Natala & her brother James Jamal are living with their mother in central Africa; Sara Jean living in the mid-west of the United States on a farm; Antonio Christopher living in a monastery in Columbia: and Jesus Rodriquez Mario Ramirez living with his wife and family in Mexico.  There is a mission in China with a young girl called, Ming Leang and a mission in Persia with a young boy called Farahim.  A new boy chid has also been born in India in December of 2009.
