Who is Mother Ilowan?

Mother Ilowan is a non-physical spirit being who works with us through a channel.  She is our teacher, our healer and our guide.  She has been communicating with us through her channel, Shayshoshewa, since 1981.

Who is Mukanda Dawe?

Mukanda Dawe is Mother Ilowan's spiritual teacher and companion.  He is also known as Skanda, the youngest son of Lord Shiva.  He has appeared in many nations as an eagle protector of the people and hence is sometimes shown with the head of an eagle.  He communicates with us through his channel, Richard and has been speaking with us since October of 2008.

What does Amaraji Maha-Marai mean?

Ama= Love   Raji= People  Maha= Great  Marai= The Unknown Mystery    We are the Loving People of the Great Mystery.

What kind of church are you?

We are a spiritual faith community practicing the mystical exploration of the All Spirit Mother and the All Spirit Father.  We are a first generation spiritual order or ashram dedicated to living in love, joy and peace within our lives and attempting to bring this possibility into a reality within our extended communities.

Who do you worship?

We honor many beings of Light and higher wisdom such as Jesus, The Christ, his Mother Mary, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and saints of all religions.  We also honor and respect the Earth as our Mother.  We do not truly worship any beings- only respect and honor them as we try to live our lives by their glorious examples.

Do you believe in the Bible?

Yes, as one of the sacred texts of the world religions.  We do not believe it is the only source of spiritual truth or the infallible word of God.  We believe it is a collection of mythological stories from which we can learn to understand ourselves as human beings and strive to develop our divine natures as well.

What is your purpose?

Our focus is on helping to make the world a better place through the practices of loving kindness, compassion, service to those in need and sacrifice of selfishness for the greater good of all the people we interact with daily. 

It is also our purpose to be Preparer's of the Way for the New World Mission which we believe will happen in the early part of the 21st century.  We believe that 5 World Mission Masters were born at various locations on the planet in 1987.  It is part of our purpose to help pave the way for a New World Consciousness of:  honoring the earth and all the creatures of the earth; creating equality and respect for all women and men regardless of religion, ethnic background, sexual preference, and mental or physical disabilities; as well as opening the door for responding to disagreements and conflict with cooperation, negotiation, humanitarian laws and peaceful means rather than war, violence and the condoning of hatred and torture.

Why does the Amaraji Maha-Marai exist ?

Mother Ilowan stated, "I was called forth, from the realms of Spirit, by my Master Mukanda Dawe approximately 25 of your years ago, to create a circle of Light Workers to Prepare the Way for the new world mission."  As you are probably aware, when the world has great need of an upward spiral of consciousness there are called into incarnation Bodhisattvas who help that world to shift from a time of great darkness to a time of Great Light."

The current world mission is being drawn into existence for three main purposes.

1. The first of these needs concerns Peace as a reality.  Peace as a viable option to war, hatred and destruction.  This world mission masters will demonstrate working possibilities of how to establish Peace. They will be heard because they live in places of war and conflict.  The establishment of peace requires three things: compassion that is understanding, communication that is active listening as well as talking, and cooperation which is finding and working toward a common goal. 
2. This world mission is about women being empowered.  It is about women taking your equal and rightful place in the world, because you see yourselves as equal, capable and filled with gifts that are unique to women.  You want to imagine that the awakening of the goddess is awakening the energy that resides in every woman of love, of nurturing, of celebrating potential, of accepting change, wisdom, courage, sacrifice and gentleness.
3. The third purpose of the mission is to teach respect of the Earth.  To understand the Earth as a true living entity and not a possession to be used, abused and destroyed.  It is to re-establish the principle of making decisions for seven generations instead of only one or two. This mission will help reinstate the ancient government form that uses the seven generation principle to decide any policy that will have a lasting effect upon the lives of their people. The principle upon which earth respect is founded is sacrifice…to live in a way that allows others to live also.

"Therefore, twenty-five years ago I sent out the called to the people of your world to gather together, to learn, to sacrifice, and to change your lives so that the world could be prepared for the world mission masters to come.  The Goal of the Amaraji Maha-Marai Temple has been- and is now- to support these three ideals and energies of the world mission.  This is only possible when you are willing to learn and practice your divine inheritance, when you are willing to heal yourselves of your anger, pain, fear, grief and over reactive inner-child nature to do the work of spirit anyway!   The Temple is about becoming Great Spirit’s employee.  It is about letting your life be the message.  It is about preparing the way.

The call that was sent out from Amaraji Maha Marai was for those who wanted to support the world mission.  It was sent to those who were willing to release worrying about their path of enlightenment, their personal health, wealth or happiness.  You are here now because you believe in the possibilities of these truths.  You know how important they are.  And you are willing to do anything that is possible in order to make these concepts a reality- even when sometimes you don’t know how what you are doing will help.  These are the people I came looking for- and here you are!  You are The Preparer’s of the Way for the world mission!"
