You are asked to arrive on Tuesday- September 21 (but not prior to that time).  You may arrive at Spirit Fire Valley anytime Tuesday, but you are required to be there by 7 pm on Tuesday.

We are having a 48 hour Prayer Vigil with the Masters.  There will be times for sleeping on the schedule.

This event will start at sunrise on Wednesday-September 22 and end on Friday at sunrise- September 24.

You may depart Spirit Fire Valley anytime after sunrise Friday.

 Equipment List

Food- Vegetarian, including dairy and eggs.

Camping Equipment- all the usual things...bring layered clothing, extra socks, rain gear, sweaters and coats as well as a blanket or two.   Temperatures can range from 30 at night to 80 or more in the day...be prepared.

One bundle of wood per person

Musical instrument

We are having a prayer vigil (like at Temple on Sundays) so come prepared so you can sit comfortably for hours at a time.

Ribbons for every Amaraji Maha Marai and all the people you know and love and wish to pray for.  Be able to read the names of the people you are praying for.

White Stole- if you are taking new vows or renewing TEMPLE VOWS from previous years.

A white stole (Hand sewen) which represents the garment of one’s first vow promises within the Amaraji Maha Marai Family.    Everyone will create their own stole as a way repatterning their Neesha.

These are the basic criteria for creating this garment.

  1. Fabric:  2 ½ yards of unpatterned, plain white cotton
  2.  You will need white thread.
  3. Cut the fabric to 7 and ½ feet long and 11 ½ inches wide. Fold in half, ironing under a ¼ seam allowance around the three open sides, then hand-stitch the three sides.  Your final product will be a stole that is 7 feet 3 inches long and 5 ½ inches wide.
  4. Estimated cost of this project is $15.00.
  5. No fringe or other decorative ornamentations

Vow Renewal Statement- One line of the New Covenant and a purpose statement that covers all the vows you have taken to date.

Vow Statement- for Ahimsa, Freedom or Peace...whichever one you are taking.
